waves

Ever felt like life is like surfing? You wait for your wave to come and when it comes ( it sure will ) you just gotta ride it.

Lately I’ve been a little laidback, sitting at the beach playing my guitar watching other people surf and enjoying the view. I’ve felt like I crashed on the rocks a little while getting my arm bitten by a shark and then getting stunned by jellyfish. But you get my metaphor ….

I just probably need some time to recuperate and pick myself up again and when I’m ready, I’ll be out in the ocean again, waiting for my wave to come …

Dust the sand from your ass and hit the surf. Just make sure you have sunscreen–that’s my metaphor for be prepared for whatever life throws at ya.

I’m more like waiting for a riptide to take me out. Strangest thing? I’m anticipating it. It’s about time something unexpected happens to me.

something unexpected ? I thought you wanted stability ?
