I’m going to be a pirate. Rrrrrrrrrrr. I’ll be Captain Hook from Peter Pan. I think I chose to be Hook, the nemesis to Peter Pan, a boy who never grows up, becuase I’m looking at my own youth as ending. My hooked hand resembles the damage done to me in the world and how I’m lashing out…ur, I’m over thinking this costume, aren’t I?

If you recall, young Phoon, the croc that ate Hook’s hand also swallowed a clock. The croc follows Hook, hoping to eat him. Hook knows his time is near when he hears the clock ticking. The croc is Time reminding Hook that he will die someday. Peter Pan is ageless. Hook represents the adult in all of us wishing youth again. Now, I know I’m over thinking this.
