smoking brazillian weed
At the moment I’m drinking tons of water hoping to dilute my piss. This is so that I can pass the urine test needed for my student visa application. Why am I so worried about passing a urine test? That’s because I was smoking weed with some Brazillian friends a few days ago. How the fuck did I get myself into this situation ? Well, it started in Bangkok …
Some of you might know, that I met a Brazillian-Japanese girl on the last day of my Bangkok trip. We had an amazing time, talking about philosophy and our respective countries. She taught me a little Portugese, and I was telling her how the Portugese kicked Malaysia’s ass back in history. She also said that she’d never kiss a Chinese guy because they spit everywhere in Beijing. Well, she was wrong about this chinese guy.
Anyways, 2 weeks later I’m back here in KL and I get a call from her. Yes, she’s also visiting KL as part of her South East Asia backpacking tour, so I promised I would show her around. So I did, and also introduced her to our much beloved Malaysian food. I hope she doesn’t get a stomach ache from all that spicy food !
While she was here, she was staying with a Brazillian family so I hung out there quite a bit. We watched a Brazillian movie and boy did I have culture shock ! What passes as humor for them is downright scary ! For example, this girl was brought to an ATM and robbed and got beaten up. My immediate reaction was “OMG, did that just happen ?” They told me it was quite normal in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and they had a good laugh about it.
Now this is the crazy part. After the movie, her friend was rolling a joint and I told him I never smoked weed in my life. He told me that in Rio, most of the kids first smoked weed when they were 13 and some even at 8 years old !
So I tried my first joint. It was this heavy draggy/floaty feeling and I enjoyed it quite a bit. However, I didn’t like how it made my brain slower and I felt so stupid. I can’t even form a normal sentence and my reaction was very slow.
The whole situation was very surreal to me. There I was smoking pot with 2 brazillian chicks and a guy that looked like Adam Sandler, listening to Architecture in Helsinki and laughing at jokes being told in Portugese. Of course I had no idea what they were talking about, but it seemed funny at the time. Later on I managed to get home and had the best sleep of my life.
The next day I panicked because I realise that the student visa application medical test involved a urine test. I called the doctor and confirmed that it wasn’t a drug test, so I was much relieved then. To be safe, however, I am drinking a lot of water until next week.

i know how that feels man..was playing poker the other day with my friends who were all smoking weed bar 2 of us..at the end, i could barely count the chips properly and one of my friends picked up the button thinking it was his cards

um. you wanna hear some bad news? the compounds in weed are stored in you fat cells. which means they take forever to completely evacuate your system. which mean about up to a month. so erm… good luck in detoxing…

ah, the second hand smoke excuse. i’ve used it myself. might just work. heheheh.
then again, i doubt you’ll get into trouble lah.

gee peh, i think alcohol helps, im not sure which one … whisky or something i forgot, coz my friend smokes weed and at times, he’s dragged for some check up in a very short time in advanced, so to clear up … he drinks whisky or whichever im not sure … i think only, no guarantee
