playing the game
Guy likes girl, girl likes guy. Girl knows guy is interested, so maybe she plays hard to get. Guy tries a little harder, but not too much to scare her away. If guy seems to lose interest, girl pulls him back in, only to rip his heart out. Girl finds another guy.
It’s all a fucking game, don’t you think?
Everybody plays it, whether they know it or not. If you don’t play, you end up losing. How do you lose?:
- you get your heart ripped out
- you enter the “friend” zone
- you get used
So I was chatting with James and Leon the other day and decided that we’re sick of losing the game. And so forms the first principle of our manifesto:
1) Everybody plays the game, whether they know it or not. If you don’t, you’ve already lost.
Sick of losing? Well start playing.

Being the Heart Ripper still feels like crap, but when you lose the game often enough, and you get tired of getting hurt too many times, you eventually decide that it’s better to be the Ripper instead of the Rippee.
And your heart becomes a little more calloused as you lose a little more of your original innocence and purity/ideals . . .

jp: ‘bengkok’ literally means ‘crooked’ in Malay, as opposed to ’straight’ ! haha . anyways, I get what you mean by being the ripper, but I probably mean that we should at least avoid being the rippee. You know, not to the extent of hurting someone else .. hopefully.

Hmmm… all I can say is, “JP you are so out of my next potential list!” Wukakaka… oh well, all I can say if you been hurt before, then you know what is love and for those who never know what it meant to be hurt before, they are more miserable, coz they never experience what is love.
Well, just be more careful and be sure you are up to the game. When the right one comes along, everything will fall into the right place, but always learn from your mistakes

Relationships, there’s no rights and wrongs as we discussed today at lunch JP.
but for dating, yea in a way it’s kinda like a game. a risk if you want. the moment every guy steps in or agrees to a date, it’s either he carries himself well to a like-able standard or he’ll get rejected like a total ass.
cruel to say such things about women i agree but hey it’s the way it is. Nat maybe how u see dates is a little conservative but it’s ok. everyone has their rights to their individual opinions. be who u are; that’s the best remedy.

Guys, i am not mad at JP nor I am some sicko and angry girl picking on JP. LOL. From his previous post(s) abt his past and “experience” in relationship plus he was so sad over the “break-up” with “S”. Its just that I got the impression that he is blaming the girls he dated instead of looking back at himself.
To move on, its the best to look what had been done and what we need to learn from the broken relationship. Its sad to say if all JP has learned from his past relationship, he sum it up to “its a fucking game”.
True, everyone got his/her own opinion on relationship, but to say “its a fucking game”. its pretty immature.
