Went to Broga hill a few days back. Check out the photos!
Some tips:
Bring mosquito repellant
Don’t run down the hill
Pee before you climb the hill (I learnt this the hard way)
Here’s some directions:
If you search for Broga Hill on Google maps, it might be a little confusing as there are many entrances to the hill. The entrance to the peak is directly opposite Rabbit Fun Land, after passing by University of Nottingham:
Hi, I’ve decided to take a picture now and then to make up for the lack of comics and serious blog entries. Here we go!
My brother received two turdles for his birthday. Up till today, they are still nameless. They’re pretty much neglected and my aunty takes care of them.
Here’s a closer look at those buggers. They’ve grown so much since a month ago, and we’ll need a bigger fish tank!
This one’s saying “Hey sup?”. If you’re wondering why the water is murky, its because the turdles shit a lot. They loooooove to shit right after I clean the tank. Friggin turdles ..
Oh today I went to digital mall and saw the rubble beside it. This made the news a few weeks ago and they haven’t cleared it up. Are there still bodies buried there?
My cousins, Anthony and Adam playing Guitar Hero. That’s me playing “drums” and my mum disapproving. I’ve received quite a few visitors since I got Guitar Hero and my Xbox. Its Street Fighter every Sunday now.
Just to complete this picture set, I took a photo a few minutes ago of my computer.
I’ll bring my camera to work and snap some photos of my office next!
My Boss Andrew and Me. We both agree that the picture should be of him strangling me. That’s kinda like the metaphor of how things go in the office, eheh.
Eira the designer, Hairi the programmer, Jason the project manager, Andrew and Swee (directors)
One of the best concerts I’ve been to! He was out of breathe for the first two songs (must have lost his voice the night before), but by the third song Chris Martin was into full gear, swinging and jumping around like a 10 year old with ADHD. Full points for enthuasism!
Here’s some pictures:
They started the set with Life in Technicolour (Instrumental) and ended it with the version with lyrics. Other highlights include:
Confetti during “Lovers in Japan”
A girl passing out during “Fix You”. Yes, right at the part where the guitars kick in
An acoustic set situated right in the middle of the audience far in the back row. I’m sure it was all rehearsed, but the band looked like they were really having a good time!
They threw huge yellow balloons into the crowd. Just take a guess which song was this.
A medley of “God put a smile on your face” and “Talk”
Drummer, Will Champion can sing!
The audience call for encore was the rousing “Whoooahh” from “Viva La Vida”
I love the the new album songs live, especially “42″, “Death and all his friends”, “Lovers in Japan” and “Viva La Vida”
Me and Stephanie went to Byron Bay, Movieworld and Seaworld at the Gold Coast, learnt surfing at Sunshine Coast and fed kangaroos and hugged koalas at Lone Pine Sanctuary!
One of the reasons I love Brisbane is because of the many bicycle pathways. Oh, and the gorgeous views. I went cycling for 3 hours yesterday, from evening till night. Erm, took some photos for you guys:
This post is also for you Fen! I’ll show all these places and more when you come here ok!
