My 25th Birthday

phantom of the opera @ QPAC
Last Friday, me and Nabilla went to watch Phantom Of The Opera at the Queensland Performing Arts Center. This is actually the first time I’ve been to a theater, and I really enjoyed it! I was amazed by the elaborate props, effects, and not to mention the singing! I don’t know why, but many times during the show, I felt like a small kid again, being totally awestruck.
Sometimes, the singing brings a tear to my eye. Yeah, it moved my cold, cold heart. Is opera really this good ?
Well anyways, I could only take one picture of the stage, so here it is :
I really liked the angels on the top and sides of the stage.
Nabilla and me. And some people who like to be in photos … -_-”
John, Michelle, me and Nabilla at the poster where everyone wants to take a picture.

April was a month of BBQs and wrong birthdays. Yeah, we celebrated Leon’s birthday 2 months early:

Kenny, Jason Foo, Leon, me and Sheena.

I learnt a lot about BBQs this month. Like (1) don’t spray a can of oil on an open fire (2) Don’t use BBQ cleaner as oil (3) Leon wastes Tim Tams

Yumi, Leon, me , Kenny and Mr Foo.

Sherwynna ( did I spell that right ? ), Sheena, Sherlene and a silly grin.

Grown adults playing with soap bubbles
“How about I show you the finger …”
Erm, ahbing.com kinda pasted himself in this picture. don’t know why …

Yeah, I’ll update later, when I watch the Phantom of the Opera this Friday.
the hippie town of nimbin
Last Saturday, me and Mr K went to the hippie town of Nimbin, New South Wales. It took us 3 hours to get there, with the help of Google Maps. Here’s some pictures:

A good day to get high.

It’s fall now in Brisbane, the weathers getting colder and life’s getting pretty busy. I bought a new camera, so here’s a pictorial update:
The Brisbane skyline on a passing afternoon.
I now have a class on the Southbank campus. I travel to 3 campuses in a week. I don’t mind Southbank, cause it’s actually on the way back from work…
The Story Bridge, taken from the Riverside Promenade.
St Patrick’s day parade !!
The liquor collection at Metro21. Yes, my friends are full blown alcoholics now.
I bought a Nintendo DS too. I totally love it, and it makes the bus rides way more fun!
One day in Uni, I saw a long line of catterpillars crossing the road. Catterpillars!!
Hayley Sales and Jason Mraz @ the tivoli. Check out his new moustache, and I was second row from the front!
Gregory Page and Jason Mraz. Yeah, his moustache was fake …
Jason Mraz and his band. And the garden gnome that Toca brings around.
That’s me at the gig. And my new smile, nice ?
You just gotta be there to see how good Jason Mraz is live. I recorded full songs, but I was too near the speakers, so the sound got distorted. Since I don’t have a recording, check this one out from Korea:
Jason Mraz - I’m yours (live in Korea)
