bangkok trip day 2 : floating down the river
Wednesday, May 30th, 2007Okay , here’s where the real pictures come in.
The second day we were in Bangkok , we took a trip down the Chao Praya river. This has always been a favorite for me. There’s just something about the river that I love, and would one day I hope that my ashes will be scattered there.
Boat rides are 16 baht. Take the tourist or public boat, it’s the same company. Also, if you just want to cross the river, it’s 3 baht.

bangkok trip day 1
Tuesday, May 29th, 2007Last week I was in Bangkok for a holiday and boy did I had a great time. When it was time to come back, I was rather sad about it. Hence the Post-Holiday-Syndrome ( Chienne comes up with these words ). I fell asleep this afternoon and I dreamt briefly I was still in Bangkok, in the exact same spot I took a mental picture. That was how sad my PHS was.
Oh, and I went to bangkok with Stephanie, her sister Carol and Carol’s boyfriend , Steve. Not much pictures of them here cause I’m only using my phone camera pictures at the moment. Please be patient.
Some quick notes about where we stayed:
- We stayed at Hostelling International, Sukhumvit
( 300 Baht a night) - 2 double decker beds , shared restroom
- The hostel was walking distance to the BTS Skytrain, which was very convenient
- Nice chillout area, with common areas to mingle with other backpackers (this will have a blog entry of it’s own ^_^)
Not much happened on the first day because we arrived quite late and was pretty tired. Click on the link to see the pictures !

yesterday, tomorrow and today

I drew this comic on the plane to Bangkok. It was inspired by the quote from Joan Rivers. I know what you all are thinking. I went to Bangkok , and all you got was this lousy comic ?
Actually, I’m dead tired from the trip. I’ll blog more when I have the pictures and when I’ve gathered my thoughts properly.
the question
Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007Today’s comic is going to be a little different:

empty
It’s empty , and I asked a few friends online to fill em up.
