I noticed something when I checked my friendster account recently. Why are there more guys checking my profile out than girls ?

I brought this subject up to a few of my friends, and they gave a few theories:

1. Girls put the “View Profiles Anonymously” to ON
2. They think its a “Jason” that they know
3. I’m attractive to guys

I don’t know which of the reasons I like the best. Any other theories on this phenomena ?

I bought a new phone! It’s those Walkman type phones with a decent camera, 2 megapixels with flash. I wanted to get the k550i because it had the Cybershot name. But smashpop said “don’t be fooled by the Cybershot branding”. True enough, I looked up example photos online and they kinda look the same.

I can also tell you that it is easy to get stuck in phone model number HELL. K550 , w610 , K800 , W810. Why the hell can’t they name their phones Bob, Wilma, Jack or something. Geez.

Well, the w810i camera didn’t blow me away. I took some pictures of objects in my room, just because they were near. Here they are:

Okay, so Milo is not an object in my room.

The MP3 playback is excellent, and as far as I know when SE puts the Walkman name on a phone, it has extra buttons on the phone to make it easier as a MP3 player. It also has the MegaBass equalizer setting, making the tiny speakers sound kinda big. I’ve yet to test the earphones though, stupid me.

And connecting it to the computer was a breeze. USB sure beats the crap out of my old infrared. I’m definitely getting a bluetooth dongle for my PC too. Also, I found the PC suite for SE even better than the Nokia PC suite, which was kinda irritating.

This blog post was also an excuse to post random pictures. ^_^

That’s so wrong.

It’s funny how a walk in the park can teach you about life. I was feeling a little down last Tuesday and needed to get away from my computer and ps2 for a while. So I headed to the Mont Kiara forest reserve near my house.

The first thing that happened to me was that I dropped my keys. Apparently, there is a hole in my pocket. I had to backtrack a bit, scanning the floor for my lost keys. Thankfully it was only a little ways off. The first thing I learnt was:

1. You might lose something. However, you can always backtrack

Soon, I came upon the intersection. Looking at me were 4 monkeys, sitting by the roadside. They looked like teenagers, and I waved at them. They didn’t wave back. From this I learnt that:

2. Being ignored sucks. I’ll be kinder to my dad next time

After much walking, I realised that something was distracting. I took out my earphones and suddenly heard the sounds of the little forest. Probably a thousand living things singing the same song. My MP3s don’t sound too important now.

3. Don’t always look inward. The world outside is beautiful too

I stood there for a while, just looking and listening. It was nice, until I heard a familiar buzz. Those damned mosquitoes. I killed 4 of them in 5 seconds, my personal record. However, the mosquitoes in the forest seem a little dumber than the ones at home. How strange …

4. Don’t stay still for too long. Something will annoy you

I continued my little adventure, staring down at the road. It is peculiar that monkeys can shit anywhere they want to, I wish we had that freedom. While I was pondering over that freedom, I was nearly hit by a car. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FOREST. Fucking assholes.

5. Keep your eyes open

There, that’s why I feel the need to go for my weekly walk. You never know what you will learn about life.

In movieland, studio executives are wishing that 2007 will be the biggest year for movies ever. The year 2004 comes to mind. Let’s recap the movies of 2004, shall we ?

The numbers are getting to me

In case you’re wondering, the title doesn’t refer to using a bro as a surfboard. Rather, it’s about my brother going surfing in Phillip Island, somewhere in Australia.

By the way, I have a younger brother named Julian. He’s studying Mechanical Engineering in Monash University, Clayton. Some people say he’s taller, and more good looking than me. He thinks otherwise too. The thing we have in common is, girls like to bully us.

Speaking of girls, Carmen , I spotted you too in that picture! Try to get my brother a girlfriend ya ? If I sound like I’m pimping him out, I’m not beause I’m not getting paid.
