Sunday, January 7th, 2007The other day , I was curious and I tried typing in Google Search:
1 + 1
And that smart bugger actually answered 2 !
So I tried expermenting further, and typed something more complex:
sin(0.5) + cos(0.8)
And the answer was :
sin(0.5) + cos(0.8) = 1.17613225
“Holy cow” I thought to myself. Then I tried some currency conversion:
500 ringgit = ? yen
and the answer was:
500 Malaysian ringgit = 16 944.1446 Japanese yen
I read up a bit about Google calculator. It seems you can even type:
- 5 kg in pounds
- 10 feet in cm
- how many seconds in a decade
- The Answer To Life The Universe and Everything

- Got a job
- Graduated
- Got a tatoo
- Started drawing comics
- Started sketching
- Attended an award ceremony
- Puked my guts out
- Had trouble with girls
- Fell in love
- Got my heart ripped out
- Got my heart back
- Assembled my first piece of furniture
- Got my wisdom tooth pulled out
- Bought my first computer with my own money
- Found out I have hay fever ( allergic rhinitis )
