sending off the interns

Yesterday the company had a sorta farewell dinner for the interns/director’s birthday/post-event dinner kinda thing. So we headed off to Telawi Street Bistro. It’s kinda expensive.

hiatus

Some of you might have thought that I’ve really exploded into flames, but alas, I’m still alive. The reason for my hiatus is but a more mundane one, my router is spoilt.

I had a fever for 2 days, thats why I didn’t go to work on Monday and Tuesday. And I when I went to work on Wednesday, there was a surprise assignment to go to J.W Marriot for the launching of CIMB Bank (that’s a huge bank). I even got to see the Prime Minister up close ! I was supposed to stand by for 24 hours till the event, but I went home anyway.

Well, besides being sick and overworked, I’ve got a toothache. I went to the dentist today and got an appointment for Thursday to pull out my bottom-right wisdom tooth. I haven’t pulled any teeth before so I don’t know what kind of pain to expect. heh.

Okay, things to do:

pull out teeth
get new router
get a life

Hmm .. the last one has been procrastinated waaaayy too long. Speaking of procrastination, if I was a super hero, my super-power would be procrastination. Okay I shut up now.

spontaneous combustion

Last Thursday I had an odd dream which kinda kept me up all night:

I was working in the office as usual, but then suddenly I felt really hot. Really burning inside. Then all of a sudden I burst into flames ( lucky none of my colleagues got hurt ).

So this flaming man decided that no one should get hurt, and jumped out of the window (not very smart right). Instead of falling to my death I started flying and grew flaming wings. For whatever reason, it was raining outside.

Does this signify a rebirth ? A desire to fly unhibited ? A desire to shine ?

The revelation was much more mundane.

I had a fever that day.
